In 1967 I was a sixth former at Marling School Stroud. With a couple of friends I attended a weekly evening life drawing class in the old Art School, Landsdown Road, where Ken Cox was one of the tutors. I remember he drew with a felt type pen, very quickly and confidently, in contrast to my feeble efforts. The other thing about those art classes was that he sold us copies of the "International Times" - very revolutionary at Marling school!
My only other memory of him was while hitching a lift back to Stroud from Cheltenham, where I was on the Pre Diploma Course - He stopped and gave me a lift, and then spent the journey asking me some quite searching questions about what I was doing on the course - I was still a fairly inarticulate 18 year old!
This website has provoked some interesting memories for me - Thank you.
