RETROSPECTIVE
EXHIBITION 2007
In 2007 there was a retrospective exhibition of Ken's drawing, painting and poetic sculptures at his home town of Wooton-Under-Edge. This was organised by his family in order to celebrate his life's work. The exhibition was listed in The Times top five "must see" exhibitions. Many of the pieces on display had not been seen by the public for over 30 years and they received a wonderful response.
"It could not have been a better way to remember Ken....You have really taken the only possible step towards keeping alive his exceptional contribution towards art in the 20th century"
"These things in this room have influenced the whole of my life. Just to say that on closer examination they are better than I remember."
"It was superb - beautifully presented - fantastic catalogue. It was obvious how much love went into creating this celebration."
"Full of life, ideas and awesome draughtsmanship!"
"Really moving how you brought it all together, lovely atmosphere and thanks for the tea and cake!"
